Tel Aviv is known for its great dance scene, so it makes perfect sense that the hottest DJ/production duo that everyone is talking about to come to get the city on its feet! The duo is responsible for many current hits such as “Don’t let me go”, “Roses”, and their recent collaboration with Coldplay “Something Just Like This”, and they will perform in Israel as part of their international tour “Memories Do Not Open”.
The Chainsmokers consists of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. The duo performed live for the first time as the opening for Timeflies in 2014, and their single "#Selfie" was re-released at the same year, leading to breakthrough success as "#Selfie" became a worldwide hit and peaked on the Dance/Electronic chart. In 2015 they released their first EP “Bouquet”, featuring “New York City”, “Until You Were Gone, “Good Intentions” and “Roses”, all of which climbed the international charts and became major hits.
A year later, the duo released their singles “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya, “Inside Out”, featuring Charlee, and “Closer” featuring Halsey. The latter peaked at number one in the United Kingdom and the United States. Their success didn’t stop there and after releasing “All We Know” featuring Phoebe Ryan, they were ranked 18th in DJ Magazine’s annual list of “Top 100 DJ’s” in 2016. The same year the duo won favorite electronic/dance music artist at the American Music Awards and top dance/electronic artist at the Billboard Music Awards. A year later “Closer” also won top hot 100 songs, top collaboration and top electronic/dance song at the same Awards ceremony. “Don’t Let Me Down” also won best dance recording in 2017 at the Grammy awards.
